Question 1: What is your photographic style?

What is your photographic style?

Most of my wedding day coverage is shot in a style commonly known as “wedding photojournalism.” This means that I approach weddings from a documentary standpoint, preferring to stand back unobserved while capturing the moments and emotions as they unfold, rather than posing everything in the traditional style. The objective of this style is to tell the unique story of your wedding day without much interference.

I do however shoot family formals as they are an expected part of the day, but try to keep these to a minimum so that guests may be able to quickly resume the festivities. Couple formals are lightly directed, allowing the freedom to interact naturally thereby producing images with real reactions and emotions.

Question 2: Do you book more than one wedding per day?

Do you book more than one wedding per day?

Absolutely not! This is your day and I am there for you only. In order to tell a complete story I cannot take off in the middle of that story to go record someone else’s day. I never double book wedding days.

Question 3: Will you be the photographer working at our wedding?

Will you be the photographer working at our wedding?

Yes I will. I own and operate Sierra Blanco Photographyand am the sole photographer. My fiancé, Kevin Juberg acts as the second shooter for any two photographer weddings that are contracted.

Question 4: Do you shoot film or digital and do you offer B&W (black and white) images?

Do you shoot film or digital and do you offer B&W (black and white) images?

I work exclusively in digital with the exception of a specialty B&W infrared film that I shoot one roll of at each wedding. I offer a selection of color, sepia, color-toned and B&W images for you to choose from, but anything shot in digital format will have a color original backup.

Question 5: When should we expect to receive our proofs?

When should we expect to receive our proofs?

I try to have the proofs done as soon as possible after the wedding, mailing them out within 60 days or less of the wedding date or the time I arrive home in the case of a destination wedding.

Question 6: Do you travel and what are the extra costs involved?

Do you travel and what are the extra costs involved?

Yes I definitely travel! As a matter of fact I travel to most of my wedding locations. Though I am based in Flagstaff, AZ, the majority of my work takes place in Phoenix and beyond. I do not charge extra for weddings in Phoenix or the White Mountains of Arizona.

I am also available for destination weddings worldwide. The charge is the same as my regular prices with only the costs of travel added in. Of course the cost varies depending upon destination, so please inquire. Coming from a travel photography background, destination weddings are among some of my favorites to cover.

Question 7 Can we customize a package?

Can we customize a package?

Absolutely! I understand that each wedding is different and in turn, individual needs are different. I simply provide packages to give a basic idea of costing and what is available, but I can customize a package to suit your specific situation. Feel free to contact me if you require something different than what is currently offered

Question 8: Do you offer digital negatives and website viewing of our wedding photographs?

Do you offer digital negatives and website viewing of our wedding photographs?

Yes, all packages include both of these features. The digital negatives are provided as high-resolution files on DVD. Your personalized website contains a selection of wedding day images on a protected section of the website for viewing and ordering by your family and friends. The site is posted upon receiving your proofs and it will stay active for at least three months after the posting date.

Question 9: Do you shoot anything other than weddings?

Do you shoot anything other than weddings?

Yes I do — it doesn’t end with the wedding. In fact, I photograph all of life’s precious moments and often become my wedding client’s future family photographers! I also photograph maternity, infants and children, families, pets, and high-school seniors.

Question 10:

Now that we have made a decision, how do we proceed with booking your services?

I require a twenty percent deposit and a signed contract upon booking. Once this is done the wedding date is saved. Sixty days prior to the wedding date one half of the remaining balance is due. Final payment is due one week prior to the wedding date or two weeks prior in the case of a destination wedding. Thank you. It is truly my pleasure to share in and document one of the most important events in your lives!
